The Association for Professional Appliance Testing

Hello and welcome to BAPAT - The Association for Professional Appliance Testing (BAPAT) is a collective organisation of UK based Portable Appliance Testing companies, manufacturers of specialist test equipment, associated safety training providers and legislators striving to promote good practice and services throughout the industry of In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.

Membership is open to all within the industry of the In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment and we have created several membership categories that range from the Individual Sole Trader and In House maintenance engineers through to large nationwide contractors.

We also have membership categories for affiliated organisations associated with our sector such as Manufacturers of Test Equipment, Suppliers of Test Equipment and Training Organisations.

All membership rates are shown in the relevant application forms which can be applied for by emailing us at info@upat.org.uk
