University of Portsmouth Academy Trust Schools

The University of Portsmouth Academy Trust (UPAT) has been established to improve educational outcomes and life chances for local communities in Portsmouth and the Solent region.

Meet Our CEO - Marion Clist

I believe passionately in what this trust can achieve and am thrilled to have been appointed to the role of CEO. It is extremely rewarding to play an influential role in shaping the vision, values and working practices of this new and exciting collaboration of schools with the trustees and leaders of the schools involved.

The UPAT values of Belonging, Being, Becoming align perfectly with the values I have espoused my entire teaching career and have been embodied in the schools I have led; they exemplify my commitment to inclusion, well-being and high aspirations for personal growth and achievement.

I am looking forward to using my leadership skills, experience and abilities to drive forward the school-to-school collaborative working, lead the school improvement agenda and work in partnership with the University to deliver the best outcomes for all the children in our UPAT schools.

It is an honour and a privilege to work closely with the other UPAT school leaders to make UPAT a highly desirable Trust for other schools to join.

UPAT is committed to inclusivity, lifelong learning and ensuring our learners are equipped to succeed at every stage.

In January 2021 the UPAT formed a multi-academy trust with:

Milton Park Primary School
